Directions for posting to the blog

This entry will be removed once we start the trip. You can e-mail the entry to yourself if you would like by clicking on the little envelope at the end.

Once you have signed in for the first time:

Type http://whiteconchtravel.blogspot.com/

In the upper right corner, click sign in.

Type your username (gmail login name if you have one or other e-mail that you chose)
Type your password and enter

You will see a beta blogger window. Click the new post link under the White Conch Travel Log header. If you want to edit an existing post, you will see an edit option in the upper left part of the screen. Otherwise, to post a new message:

In the upper box, type a title

In the lower right, select "show all" to show all the labels.

Choose your name and also one location or topic which begins with an asterisk (i.e. "*Bodhgaya" or "*Preparing for Pilgrimmage")

Enter your post in the large box in the middle. In the upper brown/grey area above the main box are some formatting options. You do not need to use these, but to see your options, roll your mouse over the pictures/icons without clicking to see what they are.

Save as a draft if you are creating a long post so that you do not lose it or if you want to come back to it later. Choose publish if you want your post to appear in the blog.

NOTE: Please do not write preparation/travel logistics in the blog at this time.
